WHO WE ARE
The J. S. Clark Alumni Association, Inc. is comprised of former students of J. S. Clark High School who saw the need to form an alumni association to help rebuild the educational system in Opelousas, Louisiana. Funds are raised to assist financially challenged high school students that aspire to continue their studies that enhance the overall success of all students.
The J. S. Clark Alumni Association, Inc. is a non-profit, exempt 501(c)(3) public corporation, which meets monthly.
The Foundation will accept gifts of cash, checks, property, insurance and will bequests, as well as in-kind products and services.
WHAT WE DO
- Scholarships
We provide scholarships for well-deserving high school senior students in the Opelousas and St. Landry Parish area.
- Donations
We donate monies to other non-profit organizations with a focus on young people.

In 1953 J.S. Clark High School was named in honor of Joseph Samuel Clark, the first president of Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, LA.
